California's Nonprofit Integrity Act (SB 1262)
On January 1, 2005, with only two months notice, California's nonprofits will have to comply with a new set of regulations in the Nonprofit Integrity Act. CompassPoint hosted a special forum on compliance with Deputy Attorney General Belinda Johns (who was a key drafter of the legislation) and Tom Silk (of Silk, Adler & Colvin law firm speciailizing in nonprofit law), on December 14, 2004.
