Ports Announce KSTN AM 1420 as Radio Partner

STOCKTON, CA — The Stockton Ports announced today that all Ports games throughout the 2005 season will be broadcasted live by KSTN AM 1420. KSTN will carry all 70 Ports Home games , as well as all 70 Road games , live this season.

"This is an exciting opportunity for the Stockton Ports," said Mike McCarroll, Ports General Manager. "As the Ports open a state-of-the-art ballpark with the best in fan amenities, having an outstanding broadcast partner such as KSTN AM 1420 creates another fantastic service to Ports fans. "

In addition to the live-game action, Ports broadcasts will include a live pre-game and post-game shows. Both will feature in-dept interviews and news on the Ports players and staff as well as the many other prospects that play in the California League.

"Having a full 140-game broadcast schedule was one of our goals heading into Banner Island Ballpark," said McCarroll. "Not many fans can make the trips to Ports Road games. Our new partnership with KSTN 1420 will bring the games to the fans, regardless of where we play."
