Who funds us

Britain in Europe does not receive any public funding from the government. Neither do we receive any financial support from any political parties or the European Union. Our income is generated entirely through donations from individual supporters throughout the UK and pro-European businesses.

In line with Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 (PPERA)*, we have publicised the names of all those companies and individuals who have made a donation of more than £5,000 (cash or in-kind) to our campaign since the organisation was launched in 1999.

None of the anti-European groups have met this standard of openness, despite our repeated calls for them to do so.
