Lambiel admires Todd Eldredge for his career, Alexei Yagudin for his personality and Evgeni Plushenko for his
technique. He aspires to become a medical doctor. Lambiel missed his Grand Prix events in fall 2004 due to injury.
Lambiel and long-time coach Peter Grütter stopped working together for a few months in 2004 but teamed up
again before the 2005 European Championships.
