Introduction

Our laboratory conducts research on the mechanisms through which emotional and social factors influence judgment and decision making. We take an interdisciplinary approach to these topics, drawing primarily on psychology and economics to examine emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and biological systems.

The lab also actively pursues a teaching mission, training undergraduate and graduate students in relevant theories, methods, and statistical analyses. We invite you to explore the site.

NEWS: Jennifer Jennifer Lerner was awarded the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers on September 9. For a press release, click here. For photos from the White House, please see the "media" link (above).
