April 5, 2005 - IGN told you to pick up a copy of Elk's Run #1 while you had the chance. No sooner had we hit enter and Elk's Run #1 was sold out across the country. Don't say we didn't warn you! Don't fret, publisher Hoarse and Buggy is refilling Diamond orders, so expect to see more of the first issue later this month.

"I'm so glad that people are connecting with the book in such a strong way. We've really been promoting the hell out of it because we love it so much, and really want to share it with the world." Joshua Hale Fialkov, Editor-In-Chief of Hoarse and Buggy Productions said. "We really recommend reordering now, because at the rate the book is selling, there won't be any copies left anywhere really, really soon."

Typically orders for second issues are lower than those of the first. "The book's only going to build, and I Just hope that people go out and pre-order, because all of this great word of mouth, and even a sell out, doesn't mean that our orders will go up," Kialkov noted. "And really, comics publishing is an 'initial numbers' game, without those initial orders, it makes it much more difficult for the books to make it all the way through to their conclusion."

H&B; provided IGN with a downloadable order form for Elk's Run #1. Be sure to check it out.
