Australian Plague Locust Commission Locust Bulletin
The Australian Plague Locust Commission (APLC) produces a monthly Locust Bulletin during times of locust activity (approximately August to May). The Bulletin reports on the current and previous month's locust situation, documents the effect of major weather events on locust populations and offers a forecast of likely developments in the following six weeks for the Australian plague locust, the spur-throated locust and the migratory locust.
