August 4th in History

This Day in History > August 4th

George Orwell once said "those who do not study the past are doomed to repeat it." This is my pointer as to what to study and avoid repeating. It has allowed me to reflect a lot on the event of my own life and how they can sometimes mirror those of the world at large.

On the right side, you will notice that I've listed the twelve months. If you click on them, you will be given a choice to go out and select a particular day. That way, you don't have to wait for that day to roll around in order to find out what happened then.
