Welcome to the home page of the SIMud project. The last six years have seen us working on the development of a new kind of mudlib and mud, a simulation codebase with a heavy overhaul on realistic physics and an emphasis on more real-world type situations and roleplaying than the traditional mud is capable of offering. The world is dynamic and alive, with plants growing and players building.

8/27/05PyWeek Game Programming Competition begins tomorrow (the 28th). Your friendly neighborhood mud administration is competing as Team Bread Sliced Loaf. Wish us luck, don't expect us to code much on the mud during this time ;)

8/24/05The bank is now officially open for much business. We've minted a gajillion pennies and are ready to start them flowing. Larger denominations will enter the market as the system is prepared for them.

8/19/05I spent two hours this morning consolidating stuff about food in the game into thread 3161.

Within the next week or two, expect quite a few more changes to food - most definately including both new raw food materials and recipes with which to play.
