Today is a Beautiful Day August 21, 2005 |
| Infamous webcomics author Ryan North has joined Dayfree Press.
As a member of the Dayfree collective, the man formerly known
as Ryan North willingly remits any and all ties to an individual
name, identity or personality. If you have not already
experienced the comedic genius of Dino Comics, now is the
perfect opportunity.
In other news, our good friend Neil Gustavson has made the
difficult decision to step down as the chief organizer and public
face of Dayfree Press. Neil remains a dedicated member of the
group he founded in 2003, and hopes that the change will allow
him the extra time he needs to focus on his future comic projects
and his Vault Distribution business.
In Neil's place, Sam and Fuzzy author Sam Logan will be taking
up the reins of the group. Readers and artists alike can fully
expect a period of intense creative interference and stifling
authoritarian rule. |
Steven Cloud switches teams August 14, 2005 |
| Today, Dayfree Press bids a fond farewell to
Steven Cloud,
who is leaving our ranks to join up with the fine folks at
Dumbrella.
We all enjoyed hanging out with Steven at this year's
Comic-Con,
and are sorry to see our friend go. But
R Stevens and crew
have been his friends for even longer, so they probably have dibs. We're
certain that the marriage of
BOASAS and
Dumbrella
will be a happy one.
As a result of the union,
Dumbrella will
also recieve an impressive dowry of four acres of land and two goats. |

| Jeph Jaques has announced this week that he is leaving his day job behind,
at least for a little while. This means that "

will attempt to use the strip to support himself in order to continue to do
"Questionable Content"

we could have the next webcomics professional on our hands. Jeph has released two

White Ninja Breaks More Records July 15, 2004 |
| White Ninja continues
to be one of the strangest, greatest comic strips on the net. In July, White
Ninja hit its 200th comic strip. While this milestone is significant, it should
be noted that White Ninja is probably the only comic to reach that mark and have
FIVE TIMES as many fan contributions in the fan art section, most of which are sctual
strips.
That's right, 1000 fan strips. To celebrate this occasion, the webcomics
community, including most of Dayfree, have come out of the woodworks to celebrate.
Don't miss some of the best White Ninja fan strips ever!
It all began right here. |
