Welcome to the Al Jazeera International Audience Panel and thank you for your time and interest.

As we near our launch we want to encourage input from our potential audience to see what subject areas they feel most strongly about and would expect to be covered by the new channel.

Al Jazeera International will be a 24 hour, seven days a week, news and current affairs channel reporting the world. It will carry much factual and comment programming as well as documentaries and, of course, the news.

When we are on air we will invite a lot of viewer interaction via e-mails, V-mails, SMS and telephone messages, and this brief survey is the start of that process.

This survey will take less than ten minutes to fill in. It will be read by senior editorial figures at Al Jazeera International.
