There is much more to retinal vascular disease than just diabetic retinopathy. Several other vascular conditions are associated with significant retinal morbidity and sight-threatening complications. This course provides a concise, practical overview of the diagnosis and management of several of these conditions including hypoperfusion syndrome, sickle cell retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, retinal artery and vein occlusions, and many others. Upon completion of this course, optometric practitioners should be comfortable with providing care to patients suffering from these afflictions.
