i would like to talk about the policy follwed by almost all b-schools in india regarding issuing of forms.they have their last dates for issuing forms just bfore the entrance exams.is it logical for them to ask students to collect the forms bfore appearing for the qualifying exam.what if he/she doesnt mange to clear the cut off set by each instiute? again if somebody manges to get a good score but hasnt got the forms bfore hand then he would b at a loss. on top of that teh price charged by them is very high,thus preventing students like me from even getting the forms,leave alone allowing me to compete.

IIPM Sucks

Kudos to Gaurav Sabnis for starting anti IIPM awareness and Indian Express for publishing this IIPM farce. I had always been skeptical of this management institute (if at all it is) but sometimes I used to get carried away by their tall claims. Then I decided to do my own investigation on the internet and realised my doubts were never far from the truth. My conclusion was IIPM is a leech that is surviving on the ignorance of thousands of students who after spending two years and couple of lakhs of their parents hard earned money end up getting no more than a Fake MBA degree.
I thank Gaurav Sabnis from the bottom of my heart for his audacious act of taking up an anti IIPM cause to save thousands of careers eventhough he had to part with his lucrative career in IBM. After all he is made of stuff that the world knows as IIM. Hats of to Gaurav !! This fraud IIPM can't bully an IIM graduate and sue someone who did a simple act of exposing the truth behind this whole IIPM facade.
We as sensible citizens should join our hands and stand behind Gaurav and send this self proclaimed Management Guru "Arindam Chaudhuri" to his rightful place i.e behind the bars.

IIpm's fault

its was iipm's fault that this controvery came above from just asmall blog to discussion forum and many joined hands with gaurav and investigated iipm now its iipm responsibility to clarify all these allegations and prove its track record. In India advertisements get thesales, add shahrukh, aishwarya or amitabh to ur advertisement strategy and u can sale cockroaches too, that is what iipm following and doing with arindam, if start presenting a donkey as a god "Avatar" then all the indians even government officials will start praying it. So to ground all this controversy iipm is requested to proove its links duly signed and properly published in newspaper. Its just the partialty of media that they are not covering this issue because they get loads of advertisement from iipm. but i have now decided to put this in frnt and let digital media to investigate.IIpm should better answer or it will face the storm.

Many Top B-Schools do not have Aicte or UGC approval

Well many top B-schools do not have any approval from ugc or AICTE for the degrees they offer. but its really an offense if u r using names of foreign people or company to attract students. I was investgating for admission in any MBA school and was quite interested in iipm but after reading this blog i have decided not to go for iipm, I always disliked Arindham Chaudhary and his views. How a youg guy can be a management guru,untill u present him like that and that iipm is doing,iipm came into limelight 3-4 years ago after they advertised it too much in almost all the leading newapapers every day, its not arindam lifted iipm its advertisement that lifted it, many of the iipm's faculty members are from iipm itself which even dont have proper computer knowledge, remember arindam's super flop film "Rok Sako To Rok Lo" which explicitly shows his credentials
but i would certainly like to know as to which institute i should elect
and always remeber one thing according to Supreme Court rules any sort of statement until and unless specifically signed cannot be considered for sue.so gaurav and varna and many others need not to be scary, neither arindam nor his fore fathers can sue

I AM A IIPM STUDENT. I AM TIRED OF HEARING ALL NASTY COMMENTS ABOUT IIPM.BUT THE TRUTH IS DIFFERENT

1)IT IS ALLEGED THAT IIPM HAS NO APPROVAL.THE FACT IS WE NEED NOT NEED APP4ROVAL.WHAT WE TEACH TODAY OTHERS ADOPT TOMMOROW
2)IT IS GENERALLY THOUHT THAT PERSONS WHO CLEAR CATS OR ARE GOOD INACADEMICS ARE GOOD MANAGERS.THE FACT IS PERSONS WHO DO NOT CLEAR CATS OR WHO ARE NOT BOOK WORMS ARE GOOD MANAGERS. DHEERBHAI ANMBANI STUDIED ONLY TILL 8 TH.IIPM TEACHES US EXACTLY THAT.
3)IT IS TRUE THAT ANYBODY CAN GET ADMISSIONS IN IIPM BUT THE FACT IS THAT IIPM BELIEVES THAT EVERY STUDENT HAS OT A HIDDEN POTENTIAL.IIPM TAPS THIS HIDDEN TALENT WHICH NO IIM DOES. THEY INSIST ON CAT SCORE.FOOLISH PEOPLE WHO LOOK AT CAT SCORE.
4) IT IS ALLEGED THAT STUDENTS DO NOT GET PLACEMENTS. THE FACT IS THAT IN IIPM THEY TEACH US TO BE ENTERPRENAURS OR EMPLOYERS.WE DARE TO EMPLY IIMS.
5)IT IS ALLEGED THAT STUDENTS TAKE UP SALESMAN JOBS.THE FACT IS THAT IIPM STUDENTS TAKE UP THOSE JOBS TO UNDERSTAND GRASSROOT BUISINESS AND AGAIN THIS IS NOT TAUGHT IN IIMS.
I HOPE EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS

IIPM saga

Two years back, IIPM used to give admission to anyone who has pocket to pay the high fees charged by it. Now the Institute has started one admission test for namesake.for the IIPM's branches mushroomed all over India. How can the institute produce quality managers without having proper evaluation system for the intakes? Of course it has good propaganda machine that has carved out catchy slogan “ dare to think beyond IIMs” .

Unfortunately, there are no regulatory authority in India that can strictly control the contents of such advertisements.

Morons @ IIPM

Its clear that only confirmed morons have joined IIPM in the past and there will be many confirmed morons who will join IIPM in the future. No amount of blogging can save any moron from joining IIPM. So IIPM management have actually proved that (a) they are morons when they sued and protested. (b) they don't know that they are morons and need bloggers to tell them that. (c) they don't know that their students are morons and need bloggers to tell them that.
