Stevie Washington, The Angry Youth

It is not often that there is a call to arms here.

A while back, I wrote about Stevie Washington, the Angry Youth - a series of short cartoons that used to run on Ye Olde MTV. Apparently, this site is one of like two places that comes up on the interw3b when you try and google that phrase. As such, I have taken it upon myself to see if I can dredge up any information about Stevie Washington, etc. Mostly 'cause someone asked.

Anyhow, I remembered that publisher / pop-culture genius Larry Young used to work at MTV during the relevant time period. He even knew Ken Ober. So, I asked him. Here's what I got:

""STEVIE AND ZOYA!

Holy shit, I thought I was the only one who remembered these.

"'Stevie Washington, the angry youth. Born to die. New York's New York. The turn of the century. All crime!'

Joe Horne did them, the guy who did The Specialists for Liquid
Television and eventually became a cartoon guy somewhere.

Russel Johnson, the Professor from GILLIGAN'S ISLAND, was the Narrator."

Imdb was little help. Joe Horne did become a cartoon guy somewhere (Disney), but I can't find contact information. If any of you can get me in touch with Joe Horne, you will win a prize. A non-sucky prize. I swear.

Re: Joe Horne

You should check out the lastest cartoonbrew.com article on him. If you still need any help contacting him let me know.
