A street called luxury
Flávio Tabak
  A street named luxury
The greatest concentration of luxury stores in Rio is in Rua (street) Garcia D’Avila , a seven block street linking the Lagoon to Ipanema Beach. Artists, musicians, tourists and models walk about the boutiques, jewelry stores, and restaurants. The combination of makeup and shades pass on the feeling that VIP clients will melt under the tropical heat. Far away from Fifth Avenue and the Champs Elysées, Garcia mixes famous brands such as Cartier and Louis Vuitton with irregular sidewalks and exposed wiring on street posts.
