Dr. Natasha Montroy, a resident of Victoria for over 15 years, began her studies at the University of Victoria where she took her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. In 2000, she relocated to Toronto where she attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) for four years earning her diploma in Naturopathic Medicine.
As part of her training at CCNM, Dr. Montroy successfully completed a two year practical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, North America’s largest Naturopathic Clinic. She has gained invaluable experience while undergoing internships at a variety of health and wellness settings, including: The Victoria Pain Clinic, The Toronto Western General Hospital, LAMP, and People With Aids Clinic in Toronto.
As a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Montroy builds on an impressive and extensive career in emergency first aid training. A certified National Lifeguard Society (NLS) Instructor/Trainer for over 10 years, and Canadian Red Cross Instructor for 12 years. Dr. Montroy has also co-taught the third year Emergency Medicine course at CCNM, as well as designing and implementing emergency policies and procedures for the College as a whole, and adjacent public clinic. She is also currently an instructor at The West Coast College of Massage Therapy.
Dr. Montroy is certified in acupuncture, IV therapy and facial acupuncture (non-surgical facelift done by acupuncture-As seen on Oprah) a member of the British Columbia Naturopathic Association (BCNA), as well as the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
Dr. Montroy practises at the Vancouver Island Naturopathic Clinic Inc., a family clinic with special interest in children, fertility, pregnancy, pre/post natal care, and women’s health.
