Both routes run 7 days a week, charging regular CATS fares. 24-Coursey runs from the Mall of Louisiana, covering Coursey, George O'Neal, and O'Neal Lane to Florida Boulevard. 26-Greenwell Springs covers Greenwell Springs between Foster and Sherwood Forest, and runs to and from Florida Boulevard on both ends of its route.

Bus interior Groom Road service revised
Thew new 27-Groom Road route runs 7 days a week. It started Sunday, April 2, replacing the previous 38-Blount Road and 39-Groom Road routes, as well as the LA Swift feeder shuttle route. It covers the various areas served by all of those routes, and is fare-free.

      Buses side-by-side Updated schedules
Since October 2005, shortly after Hurricane Katrina, CATS' most heavily-used routes have run more frequently, using buses on loan to Baton Rouge from other cities. These buses are painted in the color schemes of their home cities' transit systems, but each bus has a sign in its dashboard showing which CATS route it is serving. Previously, the time schedules for these additional buses have not been shown in the CATS schedules linked to at left. However, this additional service has now stabilized, and therefore, effective Sunday, April 2, the times of these extra buses are included in the posted schedules. In many cases, specific schedule times are different than before, so be sure to check the schedules for the routes you ride.
