Updated schedules
Since October 2005, shortly after Hurricane Katrina, CATS' most heavily-used routes have run more frequently, using buses on loan to Baton Rouge from other cities. These buses are painted in the color schemes of their home cities' transit systems, but each bus has a sign in its dashboard showing which CATS route it is serving. Previously, the time schedules for these additional buses have not been shown in the CATS schedules linked to at left. However, this additional service has now stabilized, and therefore, effective Sunday, April 2, the times of these extra buses are included in the posted schedules. In many cases, specific schedule times are different than before, so be sure to check the schedules for the routes you ride.
