District or side trips when visiting other attractions in the region. Southern Schoharie County is also ideal for
those who wish to get away from the bustle of city life and are looking for an inexpensive home close to nature.

the schools are good, come see for yourself what we have to offer. Southern Schoharie County is comprised of the towns of Conesville, Gilboa and Jefferson. These towns are a part of the New York City watershed. The area is served by two school districts, Gilboa-Conesville Central and Jefferson Central. The area is easily and scenically reached: From the Capital District by taking I-88 to Schoharie, and Route 30 to Gilboa From the West by taking I-88 to Richmondville and Route 10 to Jefferson From the South by taking Route 145, left on 81, veer left at Potter Hollow Road (the name of which changes to Potter Mountain Road, or Route 3, at the Schoharie County Line) |
