uomini e per gli ultimi eventi sismici. Proprio accanto alla Torre
c’è il cancello di ingresso al Castello, che introduce ad un cortile
delimitato in parte da mura merlate e consente di giungere
all’imponente Scalone del piano residenza. Dalla porta di ingresso
si intravede un altare che faceva parte dell’originaria Cappella e
che si rivela simile a quello della Chiesa Parrocchiale. È in marmo
rosa venato di bianco e reca, sotto uno stemma a destra, la “Z”
della famiglia Zunica e, al centro, la data “1779”, anno in cui fu
eretto.
La voce popolare riferisce dell’esistenza, una volta, di una
galleria di quadri, tra i quali, secondo Padre Natalino Russo,
spiccava quello della Madonna con S. Antonio ai suoi piedi dovuto al Borcharet e del quale si sono perse tutte le tracce.

Tower there is the entrance gate to the Castle, leading to an out
yard partly enclosed by embattled walls and then to the imposing "Staircase"
of the residential floor. From the entrance, an altar cab be seen,
which was part of the original Chapel and is similar to that of the
Parish Church. It is made of pink marble with white veins and bears
the "Z" of Zunica family under a coat of arms on the right, and, in
the middle, the date "1779", the year in which it was erected.
People that once there was a Foto full of paintings, among which,
according to Father Natalino Russo, stood a picture of Virgin called
Madonna con S. Antonio ai suoi piedi (Virgin with St. Antony at her
feet) painted by Borcharet and now lost.
