Information Operations: Provides network security for the entire Air National Guard, real-time imagery analysis, vulnerability assessments, air control, and a joint forces training range.

Air Refueling: Performs the KC-135R worldwide refueling and airlift mission providing Global Reach for America.

State Mission
"Supporting Civil Authority"

Respond to natural disasters in 19 nearby counties: Provide communications, security, medical, civil engineer, chaplain, and chem/bio expertise to affected communities.

Partnership for Peace with Armenia: Kansas Supports the U.S. program to assist former Soviet-bloc nations in their transition to democracy by providing military-to-military contacts. These contacts help reinforce the concept of civilian control of the military.

Community Mission
"Adding Value to our Community"

Kansas STARBASE: Kansas Guardsmen teach math & science to 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students during a two week STARBASE academy.

Pilot for a Day: Seriously ill children from the local community are honored as an air refueling pilot for a day. The child, as well as their family and friends, become base VIPs and honorary Jayhawks as they are escorted throughout the unit to learn about the 184th Wing mission. The tour includes a KC-135 cockpit orientation, a visit to the control tower, a pizza party and many other events.
