practiced in the "Place". Thanks largely to the efforts of the
ABC cricket club was established in 1865 and games were played
on the place. It
is a decidedly younger club than previous years (average age
is 21) and a larger one with 72 registered members. It is also
the first time in six seasons that ABC have not sent a side to
the National Club Championships. ABC narrowly missed out in
securing the Boland Super League title to Worcester United,
thereby missing this seasons club champs. |
