Coleen Murphy, ND is a graduate of Bastyr University, a nationally accredited Naturopathic Medical School in Seattle, WA, where she earned a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters of Science in Acupuncture. Dr. Murphy is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the California Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Pennsylvania Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She holds a Naturopathic Physician license in California and Vermont, and is a nationally certified acupuncturist (NCCAOM). She has long been involved in health and medicine, and has been practicing and teaching Traditional Thai Massage for the last 10 years.

Personal Statement

As a naturopathic doctor, I strive to achieve the highest level of health and vitality for those I treat. I believe in addressing the root cause of disease and treating it with non-invasive, natural therapies. My role is to inform and inspire you to take control of your health and to overcome your limitations. I care for the individual and offer personalized treatment plans while working side by side with your other healthcare providers.


Andrew Assalian, CMT

Andrew G. Assalian, CMT currently practices and teaches massage in San Francisco and is a student of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Berkeley, CA . He started practicing and teaching Thai massage in 1996 after studying at The Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand . Since then he has returned to Thailand multiple times to study with the masters of this ancient healing art. Over the years he has trained hundreds of students in The Art of Traditional Thai Massage in Philadelphia and Seattle .

Andrew completed training in Ayurvedic Massage during two trips to Kerala, India and also found time to receive Ayurvedic warm oil treatments every day for weeks on end. He recently trained the staff at San Francisco's Kamalaspa to perform Ayurvedic massage and 4 handed massage.

Andrew helped to establish the massage school and clinic of The Cittone Institute in Philadelphia, PA in 2004. He is an experienced instructor of Swedish massage, spa techniques, anatomy, and kinesiology and has taught courses preparing students for the national massage certification exam. Andrew graduated from the College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY with a BS in Forest Biology in 1992 and is a 2001 graduate of The Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle, WA .
