NEW PRETERIST CONFERENCE LISTING

Announcing an Upcoming Formal Public Debate on Eschatology!!

Recently, a reader on our website posted one of my articles, on God's Chosen People on The Free Republic website. The ensuing blogs were fast and furious! Over 750 posts were made in just a few short days! The topic was whether modern Israel remains the chosen people of God, and whether Christ will one day return to establish the kingdom on earth. The issue of preterism versus futurism (dispensationalism) became the hot topic of discussion. One participant in the discussions was a dispensational minister from Atlanta, Michael Bugg. To make a long story short, negotiations have been undergoing to arrange a formal public debate, and I have just received notification from Mr. Bugg that he will indeed meet me in a formal, four night, public debate. Mr. Bugg comes across as a very nice, congenial, dedicated man. I am convinced that this will be a very cordial debate, and beneficial to all those who attend.  The debate will be held in Memphis, Tenn. and the dates are August 21-24, Monday-Thursday. Specific times and location in Memphis have not yet been determined, but as soon as those details are made, they will be posted here and on other websites as well.

The propositions for the debate are:

Resolved: The Bible teaches that the second, i.e. final coming of Christ, and the resurrection of the dead, occurred at the end of the Old Covenant Age of Israel in the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70.

Affirm:  Don K. Preston
 Deny: Michael Bugg
Mr. Bugg will affirm the following:

Resolved: The Bible teaches that due to the first century Jewish rejection of Jesus, the promise of the Davidic kingdom has been (was) postponed until the establishment of the Davidic kingdom on earth at the end of the current Christian Age.

Affirm: Michael Bugg
 Deny: Don K. Preston

As you can see, the propositions are very important!

Preterism continues to grow and spread everywhere. Yet, while many ministers want to throw around labels of "heresy" and "false teachers" against advocates of Covenant Eschatology, few have the courage to actually present their case for those charges, or to defend their charges in the light of open discussions. Mr. Bugg is to be commended for his dedication, courage and convictions. This four night discussion will provide an opportunity for you to hear both sides of two popular views of eschatology. With current events being labelled as signs of the soon coming end of the age, with Israel in the news, with the wildly popular Left Behind books and movies convincing millions that the end is near, this debate provides a great opportunity to hear whether or not that theology is Biblical. On the other hand, the rapid rise of preterism, sweeping across all denominational boundaries, has raised serious questions about "orthodoxy."  Mr. Bugg will present his case that futurism is indeed the valid paradigm. Book tables will be provided so that you can purchase materials representative of both sides of the discussion. Whether you are a preterist or futurist, I encourage you to do your best to attend this debate. Claims have been made, by prominent ministers in Memphis, that no one is interested in hearing a debate on preterism. Let's show them that there is interest, a lot of interest! Let's fill the building! Pass the word, talk it up, and be there!

Feel free to contact me if you have questions.

The end will come after the Solar System crosses the Galaxy equator December 21st 2012. The same date is predicted by the Mayan, Olmec and Bolivian calendar's.

Brian Leonard Golightly Marhall has laid a trap, in that when you search his name into any search engine the advanced search toold are ever expanding their depth of searches into all data bases world wide. As he is the most royal man alive and his family and his birth date is within the Altar to the Lord the pyramid, his commenst can be retreived even when a page is no longer on line, because they are archived in some computer in the web link world wide.

His revelations, he says, are not for today as people are demonicly possessed but in the future the elect will search his name and see how he has been spoken about in derogatory ways and as he has said, it does not matter what they say, as long as they are talking about me.
