[a woman rubbing type]

25 January 2006

Hi. I don't update this web site nearly as often as I'd like, but I did want to note one important new change. My library-related blog, lis.dom, has moved into its own place in the navigation chart. It's probably not of that much interest unless you are yourself a library person; if you're more interested in my life and/or other interests, I blog (infrequently) about those in ramblings.

Hi. Please pardon the mess--we're still under construction here.

"We" really means me, Laura Crossett, along with some tech support from Mitchell Szczepanczyk (thanks!). The New Rambler site exists as a place for me to put things--mostly things I've written--and a place for me to play around with various designs. In the current skeletal set-up, using the handy-dandy (and I hope self-explanatory) links above, you can read old columns I wrote for the Daily Iowan, look at some old assignments from when I used to teach a class called The Rhetoric of Drugs, check out some links to some worthy sites and projects, and read very old (and some newer) ramblings of mine on one thing and another.

Feel free to drop me a line (see contact for relevant info) if you see something you like, or something you don't. Most problems should get fixed, eventually.

Enjoy, and thanks for stopping by.
