Mary (Hoyle) Mahan - Class of 1988

Mary (Hoyle) Mahan was a three-year participant and president (1960) of the BSC Aquabrytes Synchronized Swim Club. She was also assistant class treasurer, a member of numerous student and sports clubs while at Bridgewater State. Ms. Mahan received her M.S. in Physical Education from the University of North Carolina in 1963 and her Ed. D. from Nova University in 1977.

From 1965-71 Mahan taught P.E. and coached basketball and synchronized swimming at Central Connecticut State University. Since 1971, she has been at Miami-Dade Community College in Florida where she taught P.E. and coached volleyball, basketball and softball. Mary retired in 2001 and splits her time between Ft. Lauderdale and Centerville, MA.
