Sept 24 (Reuters) - Following are security incidents and other developments in Iraq reported on Sunday, as of 1900 GMT.

*FALLUJA - Gunmen burst into the house of the head of the municiple council in Falluja, Najim Abdullah al-Isawi, killing him and his son, police said.

FALLUJA - Two U.S. marines were killed in action in the western province of Anbar, the military said in a statement.

NEAR KIRKUK - The bodies of four men, all bound, with multiple gunshot wounds and showing signs of torture, were found south of the northern oil city of Kirkuk, police said.

KERBALA - A total of 338 unidentified victims of violence have been brought to the morgue in the Shi'ite holy city of Kerbala, 110 km (70 miles) south of Baghdad, since Jan. 1, said Saleem Kadhem, spokesman for the provincial health service.

BAGHDAD - A car bomb targeting a police patrol killed four people and wounded 10 others in Bab al-Muadham district of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A car bomb targeting an Iraqi army patrol killed two soldiers and wounded three, including two civilians, in northern Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A car bomb targeting a police patrol killed two people and wounded 17 in southeastern Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Five people were wounded when several mortar rounds landed in Bab al-Muadham district of Baghdad, police said.

TAL AFAR - A suicide car bomber killed two Iraqi soldiers and wounded three, including a civilian, when he rammed his car into their check point in the northern town of Tal Afar, 420 km (260 miles) northwest of Baghdad, police said.

FALLUJA - Police found the bodies of 10 people, with signs of torture and bullet holes in their bodies, during the last three days in Falluja, 50 km (35 miles) west of Baghdad, police said.

TIKRIT - Gunmen killed police Colonel Ismail Jihayan, deputy head of the Salahadeen province police headquarters, on Saturday in Tikrit, 175 km (110 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

SAMAWA - Gunmen killed an Iraqi translator working with the U.S.-led forces on Saturday in the city of Samawa, 270 km (168 miles) south of Baghdad, one of his relatives and a hospital source said.

MUSSAYAB - A man was killed and five wounded when three mortar rounds landed in a residential neighbourhood in the town of Mussayab, about 60 km (40 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

MOSUL - A roadside bomb targeting a police patrol wounded two civilians in the northern city of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, a source in the hospital said.

MOSUL - Another roadside bomb targeting a police patrol killed a man in Mosul, a hospital sources said.
