| Description: | Mondavi Center offers a wide variety of world-class touring artists and speakers to UC Davis and the surrounding communities. These events include classical, jazz and folk concerts, theater, dance and comedy presentations and lectures. In addition to the regular season of performing arts, Mondavi Center also offers an Arts Education program that provides opportunities for audience members to learn more about an artist outside of the performance setting. Most outreach activities are free. Examples of previous activities include: Master classes for local dance students given by members of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, a Young Concert Artist providing a lecture-demonstration for an elementary school. |
