Current Offerings:

• FY2006 - 2007 Funding Guidance/Request for Proposals
  USEPA is requesting proposals for an estimated $6,185,000 in funding to 9 topic areas.  Proposals are due by 8:00 AM Central Daylight Time on October 23, 2006. xx submitted.
• Great Lakes Legacy Act Request for Projects 
  Proposals are requested by September 15, 2006 for remediation of contaminated sediments pursuant to the Great Lakes Legacy Act. Interested applicants may contact Marc Tuchman (312-353-1369)

Upcoming Offerings:

• Great Lakes Watershed Restoration Program
  Several federal agencies will cooperate in the second offering for a new grant program: the Great Lakes Watershed Restoration Program. Participating federal agencies are contributing thousands of dollars to fund projects that directly address priority areas identified by the Great Lakes Regional Collaboration’s Habitat/Species Strategy Team. Participants are expected to include GLNPO, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, NOAA, and the US Forest Service. The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation is coordinating the program. The RFP is expected in the fall of 2006, with awards anticipated in Spring of 2007.

• Request for Proposals: Use the R/V Lake Guardian to Conduct an Educational Course on the Great Lakes. Closed December 21, 2005.  3 submitted. 1 selected.
• New grant program: Great Lakes Watershed Restoration Program.  The RFP was posted September 12, 2005 and closed November 15th. Award announcements are anticipated in March 2006.
