Ingrid MUR-VEEMAN

Ingrid Mur-Veeman is an Associate Professor at the University of Maastricht, Netherlands. She is a specialist in disease management, health legislation and regulation, health services research, health systems, integrated care, organizational management, patient empowerment, public health management, and demand-driven care, for chronic conditions in general and particularly for chronic digestive diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and diabetes. Dr Mur-Veeman is fluent in Dutch, English, and German and has worked in the Netherlands. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology, is a member of the European Health Management Association, and has a collaborative relationship with the Nuffield Institute for Health.
