PORCUPINE TREE have signed a European deal with Roadrunner Records, who will be releasing the band's follow-up album to 2005's 'Deadwing' in early 2007. The album will be issued by Atlantic in North America and WHD in Japan.

"PORCUPINE TREE are extremely happy about our new partnership with Roadrunner Records for our forthcoming album," comments frontman Steven Wilson. "Roadrunner has established itself as one of the world's premier independent labels for Rock music, and we couldn't be more enthusiastic about working with them to expand our audience and elevate PORCUPINE TREE to the next level."

In other news, PORCUPINE TREE will release their first ever live DVD, entitled 'Arriving Somewhere...' on October 9th (a day later in North America) via Snapper. A Japanese release for the 2-disc set is scheduled for September 27th through WHD Entertainment. Disc one will feature a full show from the 'Deadwing' tour filmed at Park West in Chicago during October 2005, whilst disc two will include bonus live performances of 'Futile' and 'Radioactive Toy' from German TV show Rockpalast, the 'Lazarus' promo clip, the live films used during the show for 'Start Of Something Beautiful' (by Przemyslaw Vshebor and Lasse Hoile), 'Halo' and 'Mother And Child Divided' (both by Lasse Hoile), drummer Gavin Harrison's 'Cymbal Song', a photo gallery and exclusive mixes and music created especially for the gallery and credits on the DVD.
