"Basically the program generates really colorful video by running color fills through animated grayscale masks of flowers then applying video feedback. Introducing the process of ‘fluting’. Farm Designs was showing a screen designed by Giles Miller that demonstrated “the idea of alternating the angle of the corrugation in cardboard to produce different shades and create decorative patterns in the surfaces of these three dimensional structures.”. Farm was also showing Chairs-in-Chairs and Table Lamp by Guy Brown. The chairs “were based around the smallest size a chair could be whilst still retaining its function to seat an adult.”. The Table Lamp “uses the process of extrusion to allow it to function as a reading light[!]”. See the chairs and table after the jump.

Designer Marina Bautier’s solid Oak Portemanteau (coatrack in french) is not only for coats, it can also hold your mail, there’s a slot behind the hooks for it. For the crafty set, her Sewingworkshop is a mod take on the ubiquitous and anonymous sewing desk, in fact it’s inside-out, what is normally hidden away is out in the open. Thread spools are hung on the side of the desk and a ruler is inlaid on the top edge. When not in use, slide the drawer and spools back under the desk.
