Viacom's MTV buys teen online community website quizilla.com 10.16.2006, 12:03 PM
The website is a user-generated community of teen authors (14 years and up) who create and share quizzes, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, polls, and other creative content. Quizzila will join the MTVN Kids and Family digital portfolio that also includes teen sites The-N.com and NeoPets.com. The purchase comes on the heels of Google Inc's buy of YouTube last week as media and technology firms snap up community websites in a bid to reap the rewards of their substantial youth market. newsdesk@afxnews.com ks COPYRIGHT Copyright AFX News Limited 2006.
