I don't really know much about
this band except that I had a bad misconception of the band.
Knowing they are "rap core" I automatically went into Limp
Bizkit mode and though it would be full of offensive topics and
language. I was wrong and it it now noted I was wrong. This
album contains two offensive words and those two were put in only after
the band re-released this album as a mix CD of The Hybrid Theory.
Let it also be noted..I HATE when bands re mix CD's instead of giving us
new material. But this album had added songs and different content
than just a change in music. This album gets a "PG"
rating.
Sounds like a
typical teen break up when everyone tries to make the other feel bad and
guilty.

By far one of their
most popular songs, this song gives a falsehood of telling everyone to
live as you choose because in the end it doesn't even matter. As
Christians, we know this is false as Christ watches everything we do.
What matters is how we live our life daily. We all mess up but He
is quick to forgive.

This was also a very popular song, maybe the most popular. And
this is one song I have a problem with lyrically. There is no
language but the subject matter bothers me. In today's society
teens "break" often. Whether it is school violence,
depression or rebellion, I see often first hands teens that have just
given up. This song is an anthem for that mentality and the anger
that teens show when they think that are not listened too. It is
important as adults that we note when teens are nearing that breaking
point and we show them a help out!

that shows the desperation of being alone and have failed. The
weird thing is much of the song is backwards. This is the content
of the backwards parts....Satan lives...Love Satan...IM KIDDING.
