Single guy, living in Ohio. Into punk, goth, metal, movies, books and comics. Sci-fi/horror/fantasy are my favorite genres, though I enjoy mystery and historical items as well.
None yet, kinda mulling over getting some tattoos once I save some money. I give blood on at least a semi-annual basis and I'd hate to give that up because they don't take people who've recently gotten tats.

I leave for Chicago December 5th and stay through the 8th. After that I get to begin my job at Cleveland Tenants Organization full time.
Tuesday I got to hang out with this lady named Candi, whom I met on MySpace. She invited me over to her place, and I took over a bottle of wine that we shared. We talked for a couple of hours, with her neighbors/friends from across the hall stopping by a couple of times to join in the conversation and smoke cigarettes with her. I think they were there partly to see if I was a creep or not, sort of a friend test. I'm probably not explaining that very well, hopefully you get what I mean. Anyway, Candi showed me some of her artwork and we got to know each other a little bit. I couldn't stay too late, because she had work in the morning and she was tired from a long day anyway. But I think we hit it off pretty well, and I'm thinking of inviting her to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. I won a pair of tickets this past Summer, and they're good through December 31 so I want to use them up anyway.
Thursday I stuffed myself, took a nap moaning and groaning from the belly ache I'd given myself eating all that food. I was fine in a couple of hours though. Later that evening I hung out with a friend of mine who was thinking of breaking up with her asshole boyfriend and to talk about her asshole mother who apparently got drunk and started shit with her.
Yesterday and today I've spent pretty much sitting around either on the computer or watching what TV programs were on that didn't bore me all to fuckery. There weren't many. And Sci-Fi Channel didn't air Doctor Who last night, because of their holiday crap-movie marathon. The bastards!
Oh well, I'm off to play video games now. BORED!
FUN FACT: Terry Jones, director, columnist and alumus of Monty Python, holds a degree in Medieval Studies, and has hosted at least two documentary miniseries--one called The Crusades, the other called
. Both miniseries debunk popular myths about how people lived, and the social and political climates of the time.

Wow. I think that's great that Candi's neighbours stopped in. I think that shows she has friends who care about her, so she's probably a sweetheart. Hope it works out. The RocknRoll Hall of Fame sounds awesome. I Rock'n'Roll and Swing Dance, and love love love everything from the 50's. Most of all the cool stuff happened in the US though, so our r'n'r museums just don't compare to yours!

Yeah, she does seem to be a very sweet lady. She can only get online from work right now though, so it'll be a bit tough to get a hold of her unless I call her on her cell phone. And I don't like to bother people with phone calls at work. I'll send her a message via MySpace and ask if she's interested in going. Fifties rock is kick-ass, but I'm hoping to see the more recent memorabilia from bands such as The Who, Queen, and Warren Zevon.
