FLASH! WBFH's 30th annual 24-hour marathon aired April 7! Biffstock was WBFH's annual pledge drive where we are asked for donations from listeners to help underwrite station operating expenses. Biffstock featured 24 hours of LIVE DJ's playing the songs you wanted to hear for a donation. The totals looked like this: $2200 received in cash/checks; $1500 in pledges; Total: $3700! Keeping with the Woodstock theme, a live show was performed at 7 p.m. in the Andover gym and featured the following indie/rock/hard core bands from the metro Detroit area: A Second Too Late, Heirs, Alucard, Asundial, Before I Go, The Evening Raid, Forever in a Day, and Gloriana. 160 music fans attended the show. Nineteen WBFH Staff members and all three managers made it through the 24 hours...see the "Survivor" photo in What's New.

BULLETIN! Twelve WBFH students won 26 state broadcasting awards from the Michigan Association of Educational Broadcasters at their annual Honors Night held at Andover March 30. The MAEB honored WBFH with the Carl V. Jacobson Educational Broadcasting Achievement Award for 2005-2006.
