Find location of - municipality, locality, parish

Below, you can open maps with search functions.
  (Updated: municipalities, localities 2000, parishes 2000, BJ 011128).

In the map pages below you can choose a place name in a list and get an arrow pointing to its location.
Then you can Zoom In by clicking in a miniature map, and you can click on a place symbol to display its code, name and population.
N.b: Alphabetic rdering in the list is: A - Z Ä Å Ö.

Municipalities (="kommun/er", 289 in 1999-2002)

Localities (="tätort/er", 1936 in 2000, with population ≥ 200)
    N.b. Here one must zoom in before clicking on individual localities.

Parishes (2512, 1 January 2000)
    - N.b. Here on must zoom in before clicking on individual parishes.
    - N.b. The zoom level of present maps is not sufficient for distinguishing all parishes.

Maps in pdf files
Some administrative subdivisions are displayed with borders in maps in pdf files, which are opened with Acrobat Reader.
One can pan, zoom in/out, seek place names with the tool buttons:
