Bank of America's Jim DuBois performs a stunningly misguided rendition of a U2 classic at a corporate event. Unbelievable.

To be fair, he does have a really nice voice. Okay, so the lyrics are beyond cheesy but at least the guy can hold a tune!

This is tantamount to Hitler singing kletzmer. Could this bank be any more inappropriate? Using u2 to promote a bank is blasphemy.

because U2 is so against the accumulation of wealth (why did Bono fly his hat first class?)

I've already shredded my BofA card (last year). This company is the lowest of the low, plagued by incompetence and crookery. Listening to that monkey sing made me want to knock his teeth out.

Amen ... the soul of Capitalism ... rendered in contempory platform. I see copyright problems. However, what deep pockets to ponder?

This guy has a great voice. If he used his talents for something other than feeding the "corporate machine", he could do the world a lot of good. Wonder if U2 has seen this yet???

Ummm....all I could manage at first was, just that...ummmm...!! As ZaraLight stated, the guy does have somewhat of a nice voice, but choosing this particular song was a VERY BAD idea! I too, see copyright issues...I'm pretty sure that U2/Bono would not have given permission to use that song for this purpose! Whew~& what a cheesy rendition! Actually, it makes Bank of Am. look extremely pious & insensitive. If nothing else, this stunt will surely lose them at least a few customers.

HOW SAD. Corportations have no soul but idiots like this are more than willing to co-opt other peoples sincere work and feed the delusion. Wake Up America! Find some real meaning in life!
