Hmm, Trademark problems anyone? Besides that, once we see a picture, I may want one. If its at least as functional as a nano.

Oh joy, OH JOY. Anybody want my W810 for free?

Pretty Dope!

Wow! An update to the ROCKR! Cool. Oops....(akward.)

Unless it's a slider, it looks like it's going to be touch sensitive screen. That's going to be the big 'make or break' as far as I'm concerned.
I've never liked those things (SE P800/900 with flap removed, T-Mobile MDA, etc) - the touch screen is a nightmare to try and dial numbers from - a proper keypad can't be beat.
However, Apple do have a hell of a rep for doing real nice hardware and interface design, so if anyone can successfully implement it in a non-sucky way - it's them.

Yep, my Sprint 700P is looking mighty dingy right about now.

I wonder has Apple just found the Trojan horse to get OS X a larger market share? This one device alone could get Apple into double diget marketshare.
I just hope it has wi-fi...

I'll take it!

Apparently none of you guys realize how bad of an idea a touch-screen is on a phone. I foresee some pretty obvious and pretty major problems here.
I'll be keeping my Samsung A707, thanks. It's smaller, it's got a protected screen, and it's got proper buttons. And it's got all the same features otherwise. (Oh, but it doesn't run a bloatware OS that was never designed for a phone.)
Color me massively disappointed.

Touch screen buttons? BAD idea. This thing will never work.
mark @ Jan 9th 2007 1:03PM
that phone looks huge!! i'm gonna need to get me some bigger pockets
Richard @ Jan 9th 2007 1:04PM
hope they can do better than the cheap 62k color screen they put on the iPod video.
Eric Pell @ Jan 9th 2007 1:04PM
I despise using the touchscreen buttons for dialing on my PPC 6700!
Smeagol @ Jan 9th 2007 1:04PM
Yay, the widescreen Video iPod is here....
But, yea, a touchscreen?
And, whats the battery life on that thing? Huge 3.5 inch display = no room for batteries = not good for battery life.
giedrys @ Jan 9th 2007 1:05PM
Touch screen good idea, touch screen bad idea. What do you know? Try first, make comments later!
srw985 @ Jan 9th 2007 1:06PM
bye bye N80
f*** the N95
Michael Bailey @ Jan 9th 2007 1:06PM
No Bluetooth?
No WiFi?
I'll stick with my Verizon 6700, thanks.
Plus, I'm not fond of being locked into iTunes.
Matt W. @ Jan 9th 2007 1:06PM
The only bad idea is that the phone will launch as a Cingular exclusive. Where I live, Cingular is sub-par. Hopefully this will come to Verizon by the time I get my "Every 2" credit, which is next year.
Richard @ Jan 9th 2007 1:06PM
Well, the pics keep rolling up here. Actually doesn't look too bad. If it will sync with my Outlook and include a pdf viewer it may work for me.

Only 8 GB???
