Monthly Update for
September 2005
The joint bridal shower/bachelor party at Alice's continues. Chloe still fears that she has not healed. Belle reassures her. Bart arrives, disguised as a stripper, and wants confirmation from Sami that she is helping Tony escape. She demands all proof she was "Stan" once Tony is free.
John and Roman are worried that no one has heard from Marlena. Roman again blames John and the tension between them escalates. John wants to go to the cabin and Brady supports the decision.
Alex continues to lull Marlena into a sense of security. He hypnotizes her and while she is under asks her to remember the man she loves; Marlena remembers Alex and they kiss. John enters and witnesses the scene. Alex gives him psycho-babble about transference and projecting. John tries to convince Marlena to come home with him but she refuses. John appeals for their children's sakes; there are two weddings and a baby on the way. She agrees to go but only if Alex goes, too.
John enlists Kate's help to find out what Alex's hidden agenda could be. Kate agrees after Alex pushes her to be with either Roman or John. Roman announces that he is filing for divorce. Marlena reacts and says that maybe she and John should divorce, too.
Philip leaves town for a few days to get his new prosthetic leg. Shawn and Mimi continue to bond. Belle can't help but be jealous. She starts to get debilitating cramps and Shawn is there to help. Lexie checks her out and says her cramps are due to stress. Mimi lays into Belle for using the pregnancy to manipulate Shawn. It is time she stopped. Later, Belle dreams of making love with Shawn and he is on the downstairs couch having the same dream. Brady calls. John needs to sit with Marlena at the wedding so he can't be best man, will Shawn do it? Belle is matron of honor.
Brady sends Chloe flowers and gifts because he can't see his bride before the wedding. Chloe is touched but has a nightmare that her face is worse than ever.
Sami, Lucas and Will prepare for the wedding. Today Chloe, tomorrow Sami! Bart calls to make sure the intel Sami gave them is up to date, while Roman, Abe and Tek prepare to trick Tony and foil his escape attempt.
It is Brady and Chloe's wedding day! She is nervous that her scars have not healed. Dr. Travis examines her, but we don't see the result. At the church the bride's limo arrives -- empty. Nancy has driven Chloe separately to avoid the paparazzi and reporters. Chloe is still bandaged.
John, Marlena and Alex are an awkward threesome at Brady's wedding. John tries to get Alex to drop Marlena's case but he says that is up to the patient. John hopes the wedding will stir Marlena's memories but it doesn't.
Nicole is lurking at the church desperate to stop the wedding. Victor catches her and throws her out of the church. Nicole prays Chloe's scars have not healed and that she'll cancel. The service starts and veiled Chloe marches down the aisle, Craig hands her over and Brady lifts her veil.
Bart goes to Tony's cell disguised as a guard. Roman, Abe and Tek try to stay one step ahead but Tony isn't making it easy. Tony and Bart escape underground, but the cops give chase. There is a shoot out and the getaway car blows up. Roman captures Tony but Bart gets away. Tony smugly tells Roman that he may have just defeated his arch enemy but Tony just destroyed the life of someone Roman loves dearly.
Chelsea tries to assimilate into the Brady/Reed/Kiriakis family. She realizes Grandma Kate is rich and makes the most of it. Bo is angry that Patrick is at the wedding with Billie. Chelsea is also jealous. Hope tries to mediate. It is OK for Bo to feel protective of Chelsea but not jealous of Billie.
