Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (Matthew 25:40)

Medical Care In India
This woman has never walked and crawls on her hands and knees. There is no system of medical care in India for the poor and destitute people. Hospitalization and medical benefits are unheard of for these people. The government and private hospitals are out of reach to them because they cannot afford the cost involved. Thus, the poor have nowhere to turn for help except to organizations like our Mission Hospital.

This woman has never walked and crawls on her hands and knees.
Purpose of the Mission Hospital
To provide medical care and spiritual instruction and guidance to the poor and destitute people living in Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh State), the surrounding villages and adjacent cities (approximately 5 million people). This care and instruction is provided irregardless of race, creed or religious affiliation of the people.
History of the Mission Hospital
In 1998 a Free Medical Clinic was opened in India to address the health and spiritual needs of the poor people in India. In 2002, a one-story hospital was built in the city of Rajahmundry. In 2003, the hospital was expanded to a 30-bed, two-story, 4400 sq. ft. hospital. The hospital is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In November 2003, the Andhra Pradesh State Government awarded the hospital the title of Best Free Medical Hospital in three districts of the state (population more than 18 million). In addition to the hospital, two satellite medical clinics are in operation. Also, Medical Camps are conducted in the poor villages on a weekly basis.

In 2004/2005 the hospital will be expanded to three stories (60 beds). Upon completion, the hospital will contain 6600 sq. ft. of usable space.
