Whether looking for new career opportunities or maintaining, selling or expanding your practice, the Academy can assist you with career development in the Professional Choices section.

The following services are available in Professional Choices:

• Practices can advertise open positions and practices for sale.
• Ophthalmologists seeking positions or looking to purchase a practice can add their cover letter and resume online to the Professional Choices database. This service is free to job seekers!
• Employers and job seekers can search the Professional Choices database by keyword, subspecialty and geographic location.
• Automatic updates are available for employers and job seekers.  Notification is automatically sent when listings match the searcher's predefined criteria.
• Administrators, office managers, technicians, opticians and registered nurses can post their resumes online in the Employment Opportunities for Ophthalmic Staff section.
