overview
The purpose of the Red Cedar Greenway Master Plan is to prepare a plan for an especially significant and challenging non-motorized facility.  The river corridor is the main east-west non-motorized transportation corridor for Michigan State University, serving a about 56,000 students, faculty, and staff.  The master plan is part of an effort campus wide to encourage non-motorized transportation modes and reduce bicycle and pedestrian crashes.
