Welcome to the evilnet development website. We develop:

  • Nefarious IRCu, an IRCd based on Undernet IRCu. Afternet currently uses Nefarious.
  • X3, an IRC services packaged based on SRVX. Designed as an upgrade from X2 (x2serv). Afternet currently uses X3.
  • Exile, an IRC to SQL gateway. A port of Thales to IRCu with added features. Afternet currently uses Exile.
  • mod.chanfix (also known as mod.openchanfix), an IRC service (GNUWorld Module) designed for IRCu. mod.chanfix is designed after Efnet's chanfix. Undernet currently uses mod.chanfix.
  • mod.auth, an IRC service (GNUWorld Module) that allows a person to auth under any username. This is designed for GNUWorld module developers.
  • Anope for Nefarious IRCu, this is the regular anope with an Nefarious IRCu module.

We also manage our own GNUWorld howto, containing instructions for all modules and the latest versions of software. Support can be obtained through the documents on this website, our forums, and our IRC channel on irc.afternet.org #evilnet. Please be sure to look at the documents first before asking us on our IRC channel.
