DEQ Director Steven Chester had an opportunity to visit the Clark Elementary School in Detroit to participate in a lesson on Michigan's ecosystems. This class discussion was part of the school's use of the new Michigan Environmental Education Curriculum Support (MEECS), an environmental education curriculum being implemented in school rooms across the state.
