2006-08-01 | NEW SONG, „LT UNITED“ MERCHANDISE AND FORTHCOMING LIVE DATES
It's been quiet on this space lately, but "LT United" have been immersed in all kinds of activities, so here's a round up of latest news.
As many of you know, "Fashion Show" is a second single of "LT United", serviced to Lithuanian and foreign radio stations this week. The song's first public performance took part in Croatian city of Zagreb at the end of June - as special guests, the band performed it during Croatian Fashion Awards show. Hence (if you didn't guess it already) the title of the new song. A lovely slice of electropop - Andrius Mamontovas says it's probably "the most serious track this band is going to record".
2006-06-27 | “WE ARE THE WINNERS” GOES GOLD
CD single of "We Are The Winners" went gold in Lithuania, selling 3000 copies (for the skeptics - a result in a country where CD single market is non-existent). The most popular Lithuanian song at the moment (also performed by Robbie Williams in his recent Brussels gig), this single is also released in Finland, on sale in the Netherlands and in various internet music stores. It will hopefully go platinum during the next couple of weeks. Well done and thanks to everybody who purchased it.
2006-06-11 | “LT United” launch “We are the winners” CD single with an open air gig
“LT United” celebrated the release of their Eurovision single “We Are The Winners” in style, playing a “homecoming” open air gig in the Cathedral Square of Vilnius. Held as a part of UN campaign“Time To Help The Others” (which involves “LT United” as Good Will Ambassadors), the concert attracted 20 000-strong crowd, which witnessed performances of Andrius Mamontovas, Marijus Mikutavicius, “Bix” and “Skamp” – respective bands of “LT United” members.

2006-05-31 | “LT UNITED” salute the World Cup Games
That time of the year is coming - a month of football craziness is starting next week in Germany. That means a lot of joy in “LT United” camp (no Eurovision pun intended). At least one member of the band, and we're not telling which one (OK, Marijus Mikutavicius) is going to Germany to watch World Cup games.
2006-05-30 | “LT UNITED” dance breaker - for prime minister!
As some of you know, "LT United" dancer Arnoldas Lukosius was introduced as Lithuania's prime minister during Australian TV's popular broadcast "Rove Live". "LT United" laughed their asses off before jumping to conclusions that this is not such a bad idea after all. "If the nation demands, I'm up for this challenge", Arnoldas comments. "But there's one condition - other guys in the band have to get some high flying positions in the government, too - our Eurovision success came mostly thanks to me, but I have to give them some kind of credit, as well". Next step - "LT United" political party? Erm... we don't think so.
