 Elf Ticklers From Space?
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 5:52 AM
Category: Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

DracoLich is in his Changing Room, which is like another room in his tower (or so he says) where he subjects victims to various hallucinogens and then watches them be tickled by elves while waiting for a duel. I think that about explains it all. That Duel map for Jedi Academy was found on Jedi Knight Files.

 Skin: Darth Serak
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 10:37 PM
Category: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast

Here is a little something for those who still play with Jedi Outcast. phonock uploaded his Darth Serak to Jedi Knight Files.
This one's actually interesting, considering it's not just a recolor of the default reborn. Pretty far from it, actually. This particular reborn has donned some different clothing (black, naturally). Personally I'm not a fan of the breeches look, which this reborn seems to have chosen, but the rest of it does look unique and not stale, which black and white reborns tend to become. To give it a creepy undead or tattooed look, a couple of lines were added near the mouth.
There's four screenshots of that Darth Serak skin to check out before you do a possible downgrab.

 Here We Have a Speedmap
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 8:52 PM
Category: Voyager: Elite Force

Lt. Cmdr. Salinga released a speedmap by the name Inf Speed2 that is designed for Elite Force.
FUN is the name of the game as you stroll around this 'Castle-esque' map, and attempt to do unto others before they do it to you! As long as you stay on the move, the chances of getting hit by enemy fire are a bit slim as the straight aways are rather short...unfortunately, it works the same in reverse.
Have a look at Inf Speed2.

Here is a multiplayer level called Ancient Temple that is designed for Jedi Academy and was made for a contest held at Jedi Knight Files.
This is a small-medium map made for the JKFiles mapping contest. It's set in a small temple area. Mainly supports duel, but is also good for small FFAs.
Check out Ancient Temple by Linkman2004.

 ReX Reviews Heretic II
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 7:06 PM
Category: Heretic II

I wish there was more Heretic news and the like to report on here but alas that is not to be. Anyhow ReX updated his Doom Nexus site with a Heretic II Review so lets take a peek at what he has to say:
For a romp through a real-looking medieval world as it must have looked when in the death grip of a terrible plague, you can't get any better than Heretic II. From the Tudor style architecture of the towns to the magnificent interiors of the palaces, from the depressing depths of dungeons to the grand columns and arches of the castles, from the canyons and caves of the wilderness to the fantastic realms of the denizens of this world, you are surrounded by beautifully detailed and believable environments.
Go ahead and read the rest of that Heretic II Review.

It Was Decent Of Rebel To Make This Map
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 7:39 PM
Category: Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix

|FU|**Rebel** released a level called Decent for Soldier of Fortune 2.
This map from fu_rebel is his first map for sof2 so go easy with your comments. The map supports tdm, dm & ctf gametypes, It should do well. There's a few visual errors i noticed when testing, But nothing that will ruin the gameplay. Not bad for a first map.
Check out Decent over on Soffiles.

 KOTOR Flight School Final
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 12:00 AM
Category: Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

KOTORMRJay released KOTOR Flight School Final which is a Free For All level made for Jedi Academy.
Okay, I was impressed by this map. I donít know why, maybe it was because things looked nice, well constructed, and I was surprised by what I saw. Basically, this map is set up as a space battle map, where opposite teams spawn on different bases, fly out, and try to destroy the other base.
You can get that map over on Jedi Knight Files.

 Duel Level: Quest
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 9:39 PM
Category: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast

Quest is a Duel map for Jedi Outcast by Acrobat.
The construction of this map isnít too bad, in fact I really donít have any qualms with it. The only real qualms with the map I have are that you canít really go that far when you should be able to. Want an example? A hallway that you can start to go down, but canít proceed after a certain part; a chasm that you canít jump down to your doom; these are the kinds of things I am talking about.
That is all on Jedi Knight Files.
