scanned images from my private collection and donated images from the general
public. There are currently 20,000+ scans (over 10,000
notes - with individual front and back scans).

I believe I have succeeded in providing at least one
banknote example for all current banknote producing countries (and a few that aren't
around anymore). If you intend to download all of the scans, beware, there are currently
over 4 Gigabytes of them on line!
You are *free to use my images if you agree to the following criteria:
The images
will be used for your own viewing pleasure. Or,
You will
use the images to promote World Paper Money collecting. Or,
You will
use the images in some form of educational capacity. Or,
You will use the
images in your personal homepage.

I do not give permission for any donated images to be used. The copyright of a
donated image remains with the original owner of the image and their
permission must be obtained before the image can be used. I do not give permission for

to be sold, for profit or otherwise. Regarding my images, as long as I own the original notes with
my serial numbers, I consider the image as my personal property. To violate my criteria
revokes the free status of any image and all applicable copyright rules will apply. Additionally,
I do not require any credits or references to my name for usage of my images.
