Diane received her bachelor and masters degree in performance from Louisiana State University. For the past 16 years she has been a member of the Gainesville Symphony. She has also performed with local orchestras around the Atlanta area. She teaches private lessons at the Music and Arts Store in Lawrenceville.

Currently, she resides with in Buford, GA with her husband and two children.



Erika attended high school in Atlanta and was a member of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra for two seasons. As a student, she attended the National Music Camp at Interlochen, Michigan for two summers, and the Georgia Governors Program for Music. In 1988, she graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where she studied with Lawrence Thorstenburg (Boston Symphony) and Fred Cohen (University of Massachusetts at Amherst). Currently, she is a member the wind quintet Quintessence and is a private teacher and freelance musician in Atlanta.



Betsy Strauss has lived in Gwinnett County since 1983. She is active as a soloist, chamber musician, church, and wedding musician. She plays with the Gainesville Symphony, the North Georgia Symphony, and several chamber ensembles . Betsy has degrees in music from Oral Roberts University and the University of Georgia. She is an associate broker with Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners and has been a realtor since 1987. Betsy lives in Dacula with her husband John and their three children.



Having received her Bachelor's, Master's and Specialist's degrees in Music Education from UGA, Monica is band director at McConnell Middle School in Grayson, GA. Before moving to Gwinnett County, she taught in Dougherty County, Georgia and performed with the Albany Symphony Orchestra. She is a member of the Gainesville Symphony Orchestra and the Northwinds Symphonic Band, performs for both church and civic groups in the Atlanta area, serves as ensemble adjudicator, and provides bassoon instruction both privately and at Encore Music Camp. Mrs. Harriman has served as 13th District GMEA Secretary/Treasurer, is presently serving as Gwinnett County Public School Co-Lead Teacher for Middle School Band, and is a member of the Georgia Music Educator's Association, Music Educator's National Conference, International Double Reed Society, Phi Kappa Phi, and Pi Kappa Lambda.



Laurie is a graduate of Louisiana State University where she received her undergraduate degree in horn performance. While living in Baton Rouge she performed for four years as a member of the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra. While residing in Indiana, Laurie performed with the Indianapolis Brass Choir and various community orchestras. She returned to Georgia in 1994, where she performed with the Gainesville Symphony and Gwinnett Philharmonic Orchestras. Laurie has been involved in private instruction for thirteen years and is currently an active freelance musician in the Atlanta area. In addition to performing with Quintessence, she currently performs with the Cobb Wind Symphony, the North Georgia Symphony, and with various community orchestras and church ensembles.
