Description: A
gem hidden along the St. Joseph River in rural northeast Indiana, this trail
features outdoor classrooms, bird houses, trees, signs, benches, and mile markers.
The
combined effort and dedication of several members of the St. Joe area helped
make this trail possible.
During summer school classes,
water tests and population samples are taken to assess the river's health.
The trail was designed by an Environmental
Science class at Eastside High School.

Directions: From Auburn, take SR8 east to SR1. Head north on SR1 thru town. Turn left on School Street. At the stop sign, go straight behind the school. the entrance is on the far side by the ball diamonds.
