West London Tram

TfL is proposing to build a tram between Shepherd's Bush and Uxbridge town centre. The tram would run along the A4020, the Uxbridge Road, through Acton, Ealing, West Ealing, Hanwell, Southall and Hayes End.

The tram should improve public transport and tackle congestion on the Uxbridge Road. It would replace the 207, 427 and 607 bus services. The tram would carry more passengers and should be more reliable than the current bus service. There would be level, step-free access at all tram stops.

On these pages you will find maps of the route and information sheets on various details of the scheme.

Consultation on changes to the local construction compounds, substations and junctions from the previous consultations can be found on the Consultation page.

The 2007 West London Tram consultation has now closed.
